Since journalist Ayesha Binte Rashid accused him of sexual harassment, Ali Noor, the lead vocalist of the band Noori, has been criticized badly.
After ‘serious contemplation,’ the artist has issued a public apology and asked for forgiveness in response to the allegations.
The father-of-two apologized on his Instagram story and tagged Ayesha for clarification.
“@balancingbinte [Ayesha Binte Rashid], Dear @balancingbinte [Ayesha Binte Rashid], After much thought, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only appropriate reaction is “I am sincerely terribly sorry.” I can’t imagine your anguish and can only apologize once more.”
He said he is not a bad guy, but he is clearly a work in progress. In addition he said that he hope that his apology brings her some comfort. He concluded, “Baaqi Allah Malik.”
Ayesha Binte Rashid, a Pakistani journalist, had previously accused Noor of sexual harassment. She provided screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation with the musician in which she called him a ‘predator.’
“You emotionally deployed me, and what happened in the back seat of my car on the way to the airport was sexual harassment.” You’re a predator and a sexual harasser.”
