Mala Yousafzai, the Nobel prize winner, and advocate of girls’ education, will visit flood-affected areas in Pakistan next week to raise international awareness about the destruction caused by climate change. Her visit is planned on October 12. 

The 25 years old Yong advocated for girls’ education, Malala Yousafzai will visit the flood-hit areas in Sindh and Balochistan. She will also extend the Malala Fund for flood relief.

This year monsoon rains in Pakistan were more than a typical circle, resulting in widespread flooding countrywide, leaving the third portion of the nation underwater and damaging the standing crops, roads and rail tracks in South Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan.

According to the sources, Sindh Home Development has issued instructions to make strict security measures for Malala. When Malala Yousafzai is going to visit Pakistan next week, a special police unit will make arrangements for her security.

The Nobel Prize holder will fly to Karachi from abroad. Strict security would be used to facilitate her transportation from Karachi to Dadu in flood-affected districts. 

She will visit Pakistan for the second time after her four days visit in Pakistan. During her visit, she also went to her birthplace in Mingora, Sawat, on March 31, 2018. She was very emotional here. She started crying as she entered her childhood house and promised to visit again. Malala met with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during her first visit. Now, she will visit Pakistan next week for flood-affected areas.

Malala also donated an emergency relief grant to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in the first week of September. The IRC will utilize the fund to provide psychological assistance to girls and flood-affected females in Sindh and Balochistan.

Additionally, to ensure the completion of women’s education, the fund will be provided for the continuity of emergency education programmes. The Malala Fund’s assistance will help repair and rehabilitate ten damaged government schools for girls. Malala Yousafzai will visit flood-affected areas in Pakistan next week to provide aid and fundraising.
