Prime Minister Imran Khan stated on Thursday that corruption is ruining nations, and that Pakistani culture has failed to discriminate between right and wrong because it has accepted corrupt practices in the past.
PM Imran Khan said a journey of change towards morality and ethics will enable the country to emerge as a strong entity in the globe while speaking at an event hosted by the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Authority in Islamabad.
One of the key motivations for the establishment of the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Authority, according to the prime minister, was to lead the younger generation towards Prophet Muhammad’s (Peace be upon Him) teachings for true success in this life and the hereafter. He said that the Prophet’s (PBUH) final lecture acted as a charter of human rights, focusing on human rights and duties to one another.
He emphasized the necessity of instilling moral values in the next generation, saying that a morally strong society would never enable the privileged and elite to steal the public’s money through corruption. PM Imran Khan went on to warn that rape and child abuse cases were on the rise in Pakistan, but that victims’ families were hesitant to report them.
He emphasized the importance of many segments of society working together to combat sex crimes by establishing a culture of ethics and morals. The Rehmatul Lil Alameen Authority, according to the prime minister, has been fully operational, and scholars will play a role in educating society about Prophet Muhammad’s teachings (PBUH).
He expressed his confidence that the academics of the Council of Islamic Ideology and Islamic International University would make a significant contribution to the Authority’s intellectual output.
The Authority will also support studies on Seerat-un-Nabi, according to the premier, in order to prevent worldwide misconceptions about Islam from spreading. He stated that national health insurance cards and Ehsaas programmes with shelter homes and soup meals were the most effective means of achieving the welfare state’s goal.
Another goal of the Authority is to raise global awareness about Islamophobia and to take concrete actions to combat it.
